Try Scuba Diving in Split

One thing you cannot miss when travelling to Croatia is get a glance of the underwater scenery. Clear water provides perfect visibility and there are lots of caves and wrecks good for diving. Upon being picked up at your hotel, we will drive to the diving center, located only 10 minutes away from the center of Split.

If you are a first time diver, you will be fitted with brand new MARES scuba diving equipment and then you will hear the details of the upcoming dive. There will be a short theoretical introduction followed by equipment presentation. For your first dive, you will have all the instructors attention, as this is a one to one thing. It is very important to feel completely safe and comfortable about it, and this can be achieved only with an individual approach. 

You will also learn the underwater hand signals, which is the only way to communicate underwater. Your instructor will then take you into the water, where you will first train in a shallow bay just in front of the diving center. When ready, you will descend further down to a maximum depth of 6 meters to see the fish and enjoy the weightlessness. Pictures and videos from your first underwater experience will be offered to you at the end, together with your Discover Scuba Diving Diploma.
