This fun and educational tour involve kayaking along the city center of Seville on the Guadalquivir River. After a short introductory course on how to manage the kayak, you will depart from Betis street number 19, situated in Triana for the Guadalquivir River where you will pass through the city. The well-experienced guide will take you on a journey through some of Seville´s most important historical moments such as the discovery of America and the first trip around the world. You will see sights such as Triana La Isla de La Cartuja, La Maestranza, El Barrio del Arenal, and the Universal Exhibition of 1992. This river was most important during the golden period of Seville that started after the discovery of America and lasted about 150 years. Seville was the main port of Europe of incoming goods from America such as gold, silver, and tobacco. The river sanded in the 17th century and Seville became less important. For the Expo of 92´, the river was restored and is now used for cruises and kayaking.
