Higuey Historical & Cultural Tour

You will be picked up by one of our professional drivers and guides at your lodging first thing in the morning. From there you will travel through the countryside areas of La Ceiba and Cañada Honda into the city of Higuey. Once in Higuey you will stop at the famous Basílica Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia. From there you will travel to the traditional market in the center of Higuey where you will see vendors from all over the region selling fruits and vegitables, meats, household goods and many other products. After the market you will travel to Santuario San Dionisio. To finish the tour you will have time to get a typical lunch in higuey (Not Provided) as well as stop at a souvenir outlet on the way back to your hotel.
