Beach Day Trip to Saona Island

Meet up with a friendly guide at your hotel before heading off in a comfortable bus en route to Saona Island. Stop at a gift shop on the way and shop for local souvenirs to bring home. Upon arriving at the beach, take a picture to be superimposed onto a bottle of ‘Mamawana,’ the island aphrodisiac, which will be available for purchase at the end of the tour.

Hop on board the spacious catamaran speedboat and head for Saona Island. Stop at a snorkeling point on the way and spend about 25 minutes swimming with tropical fish. Travel to a natural, 3-feet deep pool in the Atlantic and marvel at the live starfish that call the pool home. Take a photo and enjoy a refreshing drink before continuingg on to the island.

Upon arrival at Saona Island it will be time for a delicious lunch buffet. Add lobster or premium fish to your lunch for an extra charge, get a drink from the open bar or purchase a natural coconut water to enjoy with lunch. There will be local artisan crafts available for purchase as well as optional massage. After relaxing on the beach and spending time in the water it will be time to head back towards Punta Cana. Listen to live batchata, merengue and reggaeton music and take a merengue lesson with the crew! Enjoy drinks from the open bar or just sit back and relax as the boat heads into port. Your guide will return you to your hotel at the end of the day.
