Over deze activiteit
Meet your guide at the famous Regal Theater located in the Colaba area at 8am. From there, you will start your tour with a mouth-watering Mumbai style vegetarian breakfast at a local restaurant and enjoy the flavors of a vada pav (potato fritter with Mumbai bread) or misal pav (spicy curry made of sprouted moth beans served with Mumbai bread) served with Indian style masala tea.

After breakfast board a taxi and ride through the streets of Mumbai until you reach the Mahalakshmi Temple. The temple is known as a heritage site with mythological value, and houses the Hindu Goddess Mahalakshmi, the provider of prosperity and good fortune. Participate in the morning Aarti ceremony and experience religion and tradition unfold in front of you. Learn from your friendly guide the significance of various Gods and Goddesses.

After spending an hour here, walk with your guide to the Haji Ali Dargah. Built in the early 18th century, the highly prestigious shrine contains the tomb of Hazrath Haji Ali, a Muslim saint. The miraculous Dargah is visited by people from all walks of life, regardless of religion or race. Understand the history as your expert guide narrates the legend behind the Dargah. At the temple, you are free to do some charity work like feeding the poor.

After that, leave for yet another adventure as you explore the scenic Marine Drive on a double-decker bus. Explore Mumbai’s vast and beautiful sea coast like a local and experience the city like never before. Get off the bus at Mumbai’s most popular Kulfi Shop, the K. Rustom ice-cream parlor which is popular amongst many movie stars and politicians. Pick the flavor of your choice and enjoy the local delicacy. The tour ends here opposite Hotel Ambassador.
