On this tour your local guide willl pick you up at your hotel or guest house on Madeira. Drive to São Vicente where you can enjoy an amazing 360° look around. Continue to drive over forgotten and enchanted old roads, cobblestone and foresstry roads until you will reach the next village São Jorge. Your guide will show you around and you will visit the traditional and only water sawmill working on Madeira.

Afterwards the tour continues up the serpentine roads to Santana village to visit the traditional tatched house of Santana. Enjoy a local lunch here in the idyllic surroundings. In the afternoon there will be a visit at a sugar cane / rum factory where you can taste local brandy and “firewater”. Your last stop will be at Caniçal.
