The tour departs at 8:30am from hotels in Funchal for the Northwest side of Madeira Island to the town of São Vicente. Begin with a 360º view of the surrounding mountains and sea. Traveling in an open 4x4 allows full immersion of the sweetness and beauty of the gardens, as well as the scents and colors from the forest and villages. Surround yourself with Portugal's beauty and inebriate your senses on this stop. Next, the tour continues with a visit to traditional factories, saw mill, and thatched houses in Santana. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Ponta de São Lourenço before returning back to the original departure point in Funchal.
